After doing a ton of research into remote control trollies, I decided to go for the Axglo E5. First time out yesterday and couldn't be more impressed. I would say I used the follow mode 98% of the time, even in the car park going back to my car, that how confident I was. Walking with the trolley following is far more relaxing than my old PowaKaddy. I would highly recommend this trolley.

So I’ve had the Axglo E5 for a couple of weeks now and taken it out for 4 times.
Here’s my thoughts:
Build quality: seems very good and seems robust although time will tell for this as it’s early days. 5 stars
Follow mode : excellent and works really well I’ve had one or two hiccups but believe that was my error not the cart as I knocked the remote. 5 stars
Remote: this takes a little getting used to as to operate the 3 speed settings can be hit and miss and I still find it slightly frustrating but hopefully with more use it will become easier. You can just push and hold the button to operate and steer left and right, but again is a bit fiddly. Using the puppy follow mode is easy and even if some distance away it will come to you and then follow which is great. (Haven’t tried to see how far away yet.) I would have preferred something a little similar to the Stewart trolley remote and have the preset speeds available with one push and then increments, however it could be just a safety feature to prevent accidental operation. (Remote requires to pushes in succession to start remote forward and then a push up to increase speed. 3 speeds and once hit 3rd push up again to slow down ) 4.5 stars
Battery: battery life seems good and lasts easily for 18 holes. Doubt I’ll play 36 in a day so cannot comment on duration for 36holes. Easy to charge and place on and take off cart.
Cart controls: haven’t really used this much and have to say it does switch on easily so would recommend not having battery connected until you reach the course and have set up. They are easy to use and clear and I like the fact that you can tap the control to knock the trolley into free wheeling as this is the easiest way to navigate tighter areas and car parks. Trying to steer using the trolley controls is very difficult and heavy and causes undue strain on the handles I find. Freewheeling is much easier.
Speed: I do find the speed a little slow to be honest and would have liked to see an increase in this area, but it’s a minor gripe.
Follow mode speed is adequate and there are options in the app to increase or decrease the speed settings along with other options and firmware updates.
I have had no issues with tipping and it has handled all hills and slopes well.
Conclusion: Overall 5 stars, well made, sturdy and follow mode is excellent. I have tried two other follow carts prior to this purchase and can honestly say the follow mode on the Axglo E5 is far better.
If I had a major gripe it would be the silicone cover for the handset is useless and hampers the operation of the remote. This I have pointed out to Axglo and am hoping they will redesign it.
The UK supplier for Axglo have been excellent and kept me up to date with my delivery times etc and have agreed to replace the remote cover at no cost.
I can recommend the E5 if you want the follow feature and this site. Any questions just email them and they are auto respond.
It doesn’t have GPS built in but I have a watch and phone for that and prefer the follow mode above all else. It gives you time to relax, enjoy the scenery , concentrate on your game and is less taxing than pushing a cart or operating an electric trolley by hand. ( just my humble opinion).
Out again today. FLAWLESS!!! 13/8/24
Can’t say anymore!
If you want a follow trolley buy this !!

I've had my E5 for about 3 weeks and 5 rounds. It's outstanding!!
I'll summarise my thoughts from day 1:
Round 1: Some random stuff going on - trolley won't follow, remote cruise doesn't work, manual mode is a bit of a maul - have I made a mistake?
Round 2: Oh, I see - actually the cruise control works really well it was just my incompetence. Follow mode much more consistent than R1 but did have one or two refusals....
Round 3: Really good - getting used to follow now = nearly flawless. Remote a little hit and miss but better (again me). Stability astounding.
Round 4: Flawless - I beginning to like remote cruise and the follow function is fantastic - I keep the remote on my right rear pocket and the E5 follows at a respectful distance
Round 5: Flawless - I really like the remote but use the follow mode about 85% of the time - this has been a great buy and I should have done it earlier....
It’s caused quite a stir at the club - everyone who’s seen it likes the build quality and is fascinated by the follow function.
Haven’t paid much attention to the app yet (aside from checking battery levels) but will do so over the next few rounds.
So, a little bit of a learning curve but well worth it in my experience.
Happily recommending to all and sundry…….
